Almost every time this happens, using a different browser fixes it. In the rare instance it happens on more than one browser, right-click and choose download. (We have never had a case where one of these 2 solutions didn&#8217;t work.)<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>I get an error message when trying to sign up for the Vault<\/h2>\n<p>If you are already on our mailing list, you don&#8217;t need to sign up again. You will see a direct download link near the bottom of each weekly newsletter. This will also give you access to updates in the vault and new goodies. The DVDs are intended for playback on computers equipped with a DVD ROM only. The reason is that the quality is higher this way, unless we do HD DVD, but the technology is too new and it would limit the amount of people that can enjoy the training. Open the CD\/DVD from your Computer and double click the file marked &#8220;Start.exe (Start on Mac)&#8221;. Everything will run from the interface that will load<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"blockhead\">TECH SUPPORT ON DOWNLOADS<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Q: Can you walk me through the process?<\/strong><br \/>\nA: Sure thing.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/photoshopcafe.com\/video\/walkthru.htm\">Click here<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tip: On windows, use Firefox, On mac use Safari<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: The program is downloded, but I can&#8217;t open the files.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Do you have winzip? or Winrar? These are standard programs that everyone uses to open compressed files. You can get free evaluation copies from winzip.com or https:\/\/www.rarlab.com\/download.htm\u00a0<span class=\"author\">(This fixes 99% of DL Issues)<\/span><br \/>\nThe archive utility inside windows doesn&#8217;t support 3rd party products very well.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"blockhead\">Viewing Videos<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Q: I see things on the screen but there are no buttons to watch the videos.<\/strong><br \/>\nA: Make sure your screen resolution is set to at least 1024 x 768 so you can see the whole screen.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"blockhead\">Downloads<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Q: I never received the email for the download?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Please check your spam folder. This email is set right away and\u00a0could get flagged as spam by accident. The link is also on your order confirmation page on the website<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: I see the download page but no item has been downloaded<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Please be patient. As this is a very large file this can take a long time to download, look for the status indicator at thee bottom of Internet Explorer to see the progress. (On mac you will see the download manager).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: The download is half done and appears to be doing nothing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Don\u2019t disturb the download unless you receive an error message (Watch the top of the page in internet explorer). Depending on your connection speed a download could take as long as an hour or more! This is a very large file. It\u2019s still a lot faster than waiting for the mail. I would suggest trying Firefox, its more reliable for downloads and is free at getfirefox.com<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: I have an option to open or save the file, which do I choose?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: You want to first save the file and then open it later. If you choose to open, if there is a download error, you will be unable to launch the movies<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: It says that my download has expired or I have attempted to many downloads<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"file:\/\/\/Volumes\/TOSHIBA%20EXT\/PSC%20v4%20backup%20new\/contact.htm\"> A: Please email customer support<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"blockhead\">Installation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Why can\u2019t I play any of the movies?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Make sure that you have unzipped the file. This download is a compressed file for faster download, you cannot launch the program within a compressed folder, you must first extract it to a folder or your desktop.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: How do I launch the tutorials?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A: Open up the downloaded folder and double click on the file that says start.exe (Or start on Mac).
